Dr. Mammoliti believes that meaningful mental health care is not only about identifying and treating illness. It is also about helping people understand themselves, recognize their strengths, improve how they function in everyday life, and build a foundation for long-term well-being.
Her approach combines comprehensive psychiatric assessment and evidence-informed treatment with a broader focus on wellness, lifestyle, resilience, and sustainable functioning. We aim to understand the whole person—not simply a diagnosis.
She completed medical school at the University of Ottawa and her five-year Psychiatry residency at Western University in London, Ontario. Her clinical practice focuses on adults and integrates detailed psychiatric assessment with evidence-informed treatment planning, psychotherapy principles, and a strengths-based understanding of each patient’s functioning, goals, and life circumstances.
Dr. Mammoliti has particular expertise in adult ADHD and neurodiversity, including assessment, treatment, ADHD in mothers and parents and ADHD across the lifetime, workplace challenges, accommodations, and the ways ADHD intersects with anxiety, mood, trauma, relationships, and occupational functioning.
She also has a longstanding interest in wellness and lifestyle psychiatry, recognizing the importance of sleep, exercise, relationships, meaningful activity, boundaries, stress management, and sustainable routines in long-term mental health.
A major focus of Dr. Mammoliti’s work has been physician health and practice sustainability. She has presented nationally and internationally on ADHD, practice sustainability topics, workplace functioning, boundaries, professional sustainability, and neurodiversity. She has also lead therapy groups, parenting support for parents with ADHD and general parenting guidance. She works with children, adolescents and adults from childhood to 65, especially with respect to ADHD and in her private practice sees ages 16-65.
Her approach is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping patients understand not only their challenges, but also the strengths and capacities that can support meaningful change.
She believes that good psychiatric care should provide clarity, thoughtful recommendations, and options—not simply prescriptions. Medications are recommended when clinically appropriate, but treatment plans may also include psychotherapy, behavioural strategies, lifestyle interventions, physical activity, occupational supports, and other approaches tailored to the individual.
Dr. Mammoliti also provides independent medical examinations, educational workshops, professional training, and teaching opportunities for medical students and residents. Please contact the clinic for further information regarding availability.
She combines her medical and therapy training and ongoing educational experiences that she regularly attends to provide expert opinion to all her patients in ongoing care and in consultation. When Dr. Mammoliti provides an opinion - it is up to the patient to choose how they follow it but every opinion provided is meant for the best interest of the patient to address the presenting issue from Dr. Mammoliti's professional experience.
Dr. Mammoliti has been involved in medical leadership in the past - being involved with Ontario Medical Association as Psychiatry Section Chair 2020-2022 and various committees over the years, as well as significant ongoing teaching experience with medical students, residents and academic appointments. She also has experience with administrative violence and navigating online harassment, bullying and mobbing and has co-authored a book for physicians on boundaries for sustainable fulfilling practice.

1) If you are doing a virtual consultation - you must be physically in the province.
2) Please ensure your phone is turned on and nearby so the doctor can call you if there are technical challenges and you are not seen in the link.
3) You cannot be driving during the consultation.
4) Your consultation can vary from 30min-90 min - depending on individual issues so that the doctor can do a comprehensive assessment and have time to discuss findings directly with you as well as treatment options.
5) Please let the office as soon as possible if you need to rebook your consultation Monday to Friday 9-3:30pm and at least 24 business hours before to avoid a No Show fee
6) Access to a comprehensive psychiatric consultation is quite difficult in and some people wait over a year to see a psychiatrist, and thus cancelling your consultation slot ahead of time will allow the doctor to provide the slot to someone else who can use it. Please be considerate to other people as many people need the psychiatric consultation but due to limited resources are forced to wait much longer than they should.
7) The doctor will ask you many questions about who you are as a person, your childhood, upbringing, work and family situation, medical health, family and medications and past psychiatric history to understand who you are, what is happening and what the diagnoses are. Mental health concerns are "biopsychosocial" meaning that even though your brain maybe wired a certain way to present with anxiety, certain life situations maybe have triggered or made it worse.
8) Please bring a list of all your medications or the bottles or a pharmacy print out, including any supplements you maybe taking.
9) The doctors, as doctors licensed in Alberta and Ontario, have to follow certain laws. If there is a concern about abuse or neglect of a child under age 18, she is obligated to report to CPS/CAS by law. If there are concerns about driving safety, she is by law obligated to report to Ministry of Transportation. If you are planning to hurt someone, the doctor is obligated to report that. If you are in a sexual relationship with a healthcare care provider, the doctor is obligated to report that. The doctor is also obligated to report certain issues under federal laws for railway conductors and pilots.
10) Many people wonder about the difference between a psychologist and a psychiatrist. Dr. Mammoliti is a psychiatrist, which means that she has an undergraduate degree, then attended medical school for their medical degree ( Doctorate of Medicine) for 4 years and then spent 5 years as a resident in Postgraduate training and passed the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario examination to be considered a specialist. Dr. Mammoliti has completed her undergraduate degree in 3 years instead of 4 years and so far has spent 12 years in training consecutively. Psychiatrists can provide both medications and therapy but all have a variety of training backgrounds and focus. Psychologists are valuable experienced health professionals who spent many years in training in psychology and therapy, but they are not medical doctors, but they offer expert psychotherapy to patients.
11) Due to ongoing harassment and safety concerns, the physical address is NOT published and care is provided across Alberta virtually. Dr. Mammoliti works physically in Alberta out of several locations so if you are seen from a different program - please book through that program.
12) The doctors hate being late, however many various issues/hospital phone calls/emergency calls happen during the booked day as well as patients who are quite ill or need to be sent to the hospital or patient distress that goes past the booked time or technological issues that arise. Thus at times, the doctors will run late and will attempt to give patients as much notice as possible electronically but at times it is not possible. We hope you understand that the doctors try their best to be on time but they attend to each patient's unique needs equally which puts them behind sometimes.
13) If you are suicidal or do not feel safe or have a plan/thoughts to hurt others, please proceed to your nearest Emergency Department or call 911.
14) Please feel free to write down and ask any questions during your consultation. This is your health and you should feel comfortable to ask your doctor the questions you have.
15)The doctors are very aware of what skills they have and what they don't. If your case presents with a problem that they are not experienced with or may not be able to help with - they will advise you so. Just like a surgeon may be able to do a particular surgery on one patient for one issue but not for another issue, a psychiatrist maybe able to provide care for one issue but may not have the expertise for another issue. Taking on a patient for which a doctor is not experienced to treat is unethical and can cause harm to the patient thus if the doctors feel your case is outside of their expertise they will advise you of such.
16) Please note, unless the doctors have the expressed consent by the patient, she cannot provide information/book appointments with other individuals due to confidentiality. If you are a concerned relative or partner - please take your relative to the nearest ER if this is a safety/suicide/harm to others situation or you can leave information that the doctor can discuss with the patient directly (but the source of the information will be revealed)
17) For moms/parents - if you cannot secure childcare during the appointment -we totally understand- you are more than welcome to breastfeed during the virtual appointment, or attend to childcare as needed and we will do our best to do the consultation. Parenting/childcare should never be a barrier to your care and mental wellness
Please note, you will need a referral from your Family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner to be referred to Dr. Mammoliti for a consultation. You may have a learner (medical student or resident) present FOR TEACHING PURPOSES AND SPECIAL SLOTS ARE CREATED REFERRALS ARE ACCEPTED VIA FAX
